But Kiah wasn’t alone in her celebration! On Saturday, senior Natalia Madison soared to a third-place finish in the high jump, clearing an impressive height of 1.63 meters. Friday was packed with intense competition. Senior I’Asia Wilson showcased her power in the 60-meter dash, finishing third in the finals after a solid performance throughout the heats. Teammate fifth-year Adaobi Tabugbo also turned heads by winning her heat in the preliminaries, later taking fourth in the finals after an impressive semifinal effort where she placed second.
Not to be outdone, junior Twaneise Johnson and sophomore Janiah Pulliam brought their A-game to the 400-meter, finishing eighth and twelfth respectively after winning their heats with style!
The Relay Rumble
Saturday turned out to be relay race day! The UCF A team, featuring Williams, Johnson, junior Jazmen Newberry, and redshirt sophomore Deja Shaw-Huckaby, was simply phenomenal in the 4×400 meter relay. They won their heat easily, clocking in at an amazing 3:34.29—a full ten seconds faster than second-place competitor Mississippi State. This solid performance not only secured their heat win but also placed them overall second at the meet!
But the excitement didn’t stop there. UCF’s B team—which included Pulliam, sophomore Brianna Rodriguez, fifth-year Jasmine Jolly, and freshman Raquel Edwards—also strutted their stuff, winning their heat with a time of 3:52.00, placing them tenth overall.

The UCF squad faced off against a formidable field of competitors, including renowned institutions like Clemson, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia Tech.
