The opening round was a tough pill to swallow as the Panthers faced off against Ball State, ultimately suffering a hard-fought defeat with a score of 4.5-1.5. Amidst the challenging match, there was a glimmer of hope brought forth by Anna Nacos, who celebrated a noteworthy victory against Sophie Korthujis with a score of 2&1, achieving a robust total of 79 (+10) over 17 holes.
