Expected to open in Summer 2025, it aims to blend recreation with culinary experiences while supporting aspiring golfers through advanced training facilities. The venue seeks to create a community space for fun, dining, and skill development for golf enthusiasts.
Construction is officially underway for the highly anticipated Arnold Palmer’s CenterCup! Golf enthusiasts and foodies alike can rejoice as developers recently celebrated their “first putt” at the site, promising an exceptional blend of dining and recreation that will soon call this area home.
CenterCup is taking shape in a prime spot at Butler North of Plaza Boulevard on Southwest 30th Place, nestled comfortably behind popular eateries like Newk’s Eatery and Culver’s. With its opening slated for the Summer of 2025, it won’t be long before you can swing by for a bite to eat or indulge in some friendly competition on the greens.
This unique venue will have something for everyone, featuring an expansive 27-hole mini-golf course that promises to keep players engaged, whether you’re a novice or a seasoned pro. The fun doesn’t stop there! Guests will also find golf simulators, shuffleboards, and even an official Arnold Palmer Pro Shop to snag all the gear you need. Talk about a one-stop shop for all things golf!
With a substantial 11,000 square foot restaurant, CenterCup will cater to diners offering a menu that pairs perfectly with a day on the greens. Moreover, there’s a massive 19,000 square foot covered entertainment area that will encourage picnics, celebrations, and social gatherings, making it an inviting spot for families and friends.
The brains behind this venture, Marc Brown, is no stranger to the dining scene. He previously opened the successful Ford’s Garage restaurant in the area and has strong personal ties to the community, which he credits as a motivation for choosing this location for CenterCup. His passion for creating a space where dining and golf can coexist helps bring this vision to life.
The CenterCup doesn’t just serve as a nightlife hotspot but as a hub for aspiring golfers. The facility is designed to encompass all that the sport represents, promoting a sense of passion and dedication among players. The University of Florida’s golf program has experienced great success recently, securing their first national championship title in 22 years at the 2023 NCAA Division I competition.
The cutting-edge golf training facilities at CenterCup will boast state-of-the-art equipment allowing players to analyze their swings in real-time, providing valuable insights to maximize their performance. Aiming for excellence, the Gators are setting their sights high as they gear up for the 2025 spring season, focusing on both the SEC Championship and NCAA Championships.
The countdown is on as the new entertainment area takes shape, promising an environment that supports growth and skill development for golfers of all levels. CenterCup stands poised to be a motivational launchpad for young athletes aspiring to take their games to the next level in a supportive and innovative space.
As construction progresses, anticipation is palpable among local residents and golf enthusiasts. With an exhilarating mix of mini-golf, dining, and advanced training facilities, Arnold Palmer’s CenterCup is set to bring exciting new experiences to the golfing community. Get ready to tee off in style come Summer 2025!
