Golf enthusiasts, get ready to mark your calendars! The Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team has just unveiled its much-anticipated spring schedule for the 2025 season. As winter wraps its chilly grip around the country, thoughts of sunny fairways and the sound of clubs hitting the ball should keep spirits high. The Titans are all set to swing into action in February 2025!
The season kicks off at the Kinderlou Forest Invitational in Valdosta, Georgia, on the 17th and 18th of February. This beautiful course will serve as the perfect starting point for the Titans, as they aim to showcase their skills and set the tone for the rest of the season. Following this event, which is sure to promise some exciting competition, the team will continue its journey with four regular-season tournaments.
On March 10-11, the Titans will play in the Catawba Invitational at the Duran Golf Club. This event, known for its challenging layout and stunning views, will definitely test the mettle of our talented athletes. Can they rise to the occasion? We can’t wait to find out!
But wait, there’s more! Just a week later, on March 17-18, the team will head to the picturesque setting of the Oldfield Invitational. Nestled in tranquil surroundings, this course will provide another exciting opportunity for the Titans to showcase their golfing prowess.
As the season rolls into April, the Titans will take part in their final regular-season tournament, the North Georgia Brackett Challenge, happening on April 7-8. This tournament is known for its competitive nature, so fans are hoping to witness some nail-biting golf action!
In a thrilling twist, Eastern Florida State College will have the honor of hosting the Southeast District Championship on April 14-15. This prestigious event draws the best teams from the region, making it a fantastic showcase for golf fans. The stakes will be high as the top teams from this championship will earn an advance ticket to the coveted NJCAA Division I National Championship!
The National Championship, slated for May 12-15 in Garden City, Kansas, is where dreams come true for college athletes.
