Although the Fringe ArtSpace will close by February 2025, the spirit of theatrical creativity remains vibrant in Orlando.
Orlando is buzzing with excitement as the FestN4 festival makes its grand return to the heart of downtown at the cherished Fringe ArtSpace. This vibrant festival aims to keep the theatrical spirit alive and bridge the gap until the famous annual Orlando Fringe festival resumes its festivities in May with a reduced lineup spread over four exciting days.
This year is proving to be extra special as the FestN4 pulls out all the stops with over 20 stunning shows, many of which will feature two to three mesmerizing performances each. Audiences will be thrilled to see a wonderful mix of crowd favorites from past festivals along with brand new productions making their highly anticipated world premieres.
One of the standout productions at this year’s event is the emotionally charged show “Clingstone” from Orchid World Productions. This captivating tale follows a mother’s profound reflections on her cancer diagnosis while weaving through the life journey of her daughter. The storyline is crafted in an intriguing reverse narrative that begins with the daughter’s imprisonment following a tragic drunk-driving crash.
Through its thought-provoking themes of privilege, generational trauma, and familial choices, “Clingstone” promises to engage viewers on multiple levels. The creative mind behind the show has designed this narrative to genuinely challenge the audience’s perceptions by putting the outcome front and center.

FestN4 keeps the fun affordable! Each performance is limited to 70 minutes and tickets are just $15. Families can also take advantage of FestN4 KIDS shows, which range from free to $5. However, a $3 button is required for all attendees to enjoy the Full FestN4 experience!
Despite all the excitement, there is a bittersweet note to this festival. Orlando Fringe has announced that the Fringe ArtSpace will close its doors by February 2025 due to some financial challenges. Ongoing operational costs related to the upkeep of the older facility have proven overwhelming, including issues with utilities, HVAC replacements, and flooding.
Even though the doors of Fringe ArtSpace will eventually close, the spirit of theatrical creativity is far from gone—Orlando Fringe plans to focus on its annual festival and explore additional mini-festivals in the coming years. With both FestN4 and the William Daniel Mills apprenticeship showcase continuing through February, this is still a time to celebrate] the magic of the arts in Orlando!
