Orlando, Florida was buzzing with excitement as the 2025 PGA Show kicked off at the Orange County Convention Center. This annual event welcomed thousands of golf lovers and professionals alike, showcasing the best and brightest innovations in golf clubs, gear, technology, apparel, and so much more. It was a true global gathering for the business of golf, and it certainly did not disappoint!
This year saw big names rolling out futuristic golf products that left enthusiasts talking. Callaway took innovation to a brand-new level with their Elyte driver lineup, powered by AI technology. The brand used artificial intelligence to design over 75 3D-printed prototype driver heads that promise to enhance the golfing experience.
FlightScope also stole the show with the unveiling of their i4 Laser Rangefinder. Not just offering distance measures, this nifty gadget provides real-time club suggestions utilizing AI along with an Environmental Optimizer. It’s like having a personal caddy right in your pocket!
Another standout was Bushnell, launching the ProX3+ Link Laser, a device that gives club recommendations using data sourced from ForeSight launch monitors. It is all about making smart choices on the course, and who wouldn’t want that?
Cobra introduced their revolutionary FutureFit33 hosel system at this year’s show, allowing golfers to customize their clubs with 33 different loft and lie settings. Flexibility in club fitting has never been easier! Meanwhile, Srixon joined the action with hosel adjustments across their ZXi drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids, tailoring equipment to player preferences.
PING made waves with their new BunkR wedge, designed specifically to help golfers escape those pesky sand traps more effectively. Precision is key on the greens, and this wedge could be a game-changer. And if that wasn’t enough, Gears Sports showcased motion tracking technology aimed at creating swing-specific golf shafts, launching their unique OVVIO wood shafts.
Moving on to the essentials, TaylorMade unveiled TRK-R golf balls crafted for better indoor radar tracking, while Full Swing Golf brought in Clippd technology for improved shot tracking and assessment within simulator golf settings. Not to leave tech lovers wanting, Garmin introduced the Approach R50, a portable golf launch monitor that features a built-in simulator.
Footwear also took center stage with brands like Puma showcasing the Ignite Elevate Tour shoes, tailored for performance on the TOUR. Adidas made a comeback with their revamped AdiZero franchise in the ZG golf lineup, emphasizing comfort along with performance. TRUE Linkswear expanded its zero-drop footwear line aimed at golfers with high swing speeds, proving that style and comfort can go hand-in-hand.
Among the most outrageous displays was Precision Pro Golf showcasing a limited-edition gold-plated rangefinder, clearly for those who want to add a touch of luxury to their equipment! Not far behind, Flightpath Golf wowed attendees with a diamond-covered golf tee worth over $50,000. Now, that’s what we call bling on the green!
The energy at the PGA Show was contagious, with attendees enjoying a lively atmosphere filled with expert talks, PGA Tour player appearances, and moderated discussions. The innovations unveiled this year, including the BAL.ON wearable technology for weight shift analysis and the Nike x Hyperice boot, designed to warm up feet before play, added to the excitement.
Lastly, Tübr Storage took home the Best-In-Show award at the Inventor’s Spotlight for their premium portable storage solutions for cigars, designed for durability with a hermetic seal. It’s apparent that the 2025 PGA Show not only stepped up the game of golf but also the lifestyle around it!
