With plans to hire 100 new employees in South Florida, Kandji intends to contribute significantly to the local tech scene amidst a vibrant community. As the company grows, it aims to be a key player in Miami’s tech revolution, collaborating with other tech giants and investing in local talent development.
Coral Gables is buzzing with excitement as Kandji, a San Francisco-based software company, has officially opened the doors to its East Coast headquarters right in the heart of this vibrant city! Nestled in a stunning 30,000-square-foot office at The Plaza, Kandji is not only marking its presence but also planning a significant expansion in the area.
Currently, the new Coral Gables office is home to 68 dedicated full-time employees. But hold on to your hats, because Kandji has big plans! The company is on the lookout to hire an additional 100 employees across various departments. That means a lot of new job opportunities in South Florida for those looking to dive into the tech world or advance their careers in a forward-thinking company.
Founded in 2018, Kandji has quickly made a name for itself with its focus on managing and securing Apple devices. Businesses that rely on iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and more now have a helping hand to ensure their tech runs smoothly and securely. With a global team of over 250 employees spread across California, London, Sydney, and Japan, Kandji is truly making strides on the international stage.
In the past year, Kandji’s momentum has only increased, thanks to a whopping $100 million funding boost. This influx of cash has catapulted the company’s valuation to around $850 million!
The leadership at Kandji sees Miami as the “next frontier” for technology innovation. With rapid growth sweeping across the region, they are eager to latch onto this surge and be a part of Miami’s technological evolution. They aim to build a top-notch team that will enhance this momentum, tapping into the vibrant, tech-savvy community that Miami is nurturing.
Interestingly, Apple is also stepping into The Plaza, which makes this location even more appealing for Kandji. The blend of these tech giants in one locale is bound to give rise to innovative projects and collaborations.
Kandji is not just focusing on expansion for its own benefit. They have actively engaged in local initiatives, joining events organized by Miami Tech Works to foster talent development in the area. There’s a significant commitment from local leaders to invest in the growing tech sector, and Kandji is eager to play a major role in that development.
LePoidevin, the CMO, highlighted that the Miami area is prioritizing talent investment, showcasing a promising future for those in the tech field. This collaboration fosters a supportive environment for local residents who hope to carve out a niche in the technology landscape.
The Coral Gables office is situated at 2811 Ponce de Leon Boulevard amidst The Plaza Coral Gables development. This impressive project features a whopping 2.3 million square feet and includes not just office space but also a hotel, apartments, and diverse retail options.
In addition to Kandji, the Plaza is also home to Venture X, a co-working space provider, extending opportunities for collaboration and networking among local professionals.
And it doesn’t stop there! CityPlace Doral is also making strides with the addition of new retail tenants like Escapology, Oakberry, and Petricor, enhancing the community’s offerings.
With all these exciting developments, Coral Gables is shaping up to be a major hub for technology and innovation. As Kandji plants its roots and expands its workforce, the future looks bright for both the company and the local community.
