This February, as we honor Black History Month, it’s the perfect time to shine a spotlight on Maurice Allen’s contributions to Pine Hills. He has made it his mission to uplift local youth through his M-Power program, designed to teach vital life skills rather than focusing solely on nurturing future professional golfers.

During the event, 25 children and their parents were granted savings accounts with a generous $1,000 from VyStar, aimed at setting the youth up for financial success. Jamie Merrill, a vital leader at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida, emphasized how crucial financial literacy is to ensuring future success.
