Sponsor Our ArticlesOrlando’s culinary landscape just expanded with the addition of six new Michelin-rated restaurants, bringing the city’s total to 58. From Vietnamese sandwiches at Bánh Mì Boy to innovative dishes at Bar Kada, food lovers will have a plethora of dining options to explore. These new eateries promise unique experiences and exciting flavors, making Orlando a must-visit destination for foodies. As the Michelin Guide continues to recognize the city’s culinary talents, anticipation builds for the upcoming Florida Michelin Guide Ceremony on April 17, 2025.
Orlando just got a whole lot tastier! On March 12, 2025, the Michelin Guide announced the addition of six new eateries to its esteemed selection, pushing the total number of Michelin-rated restaurants in Orlando to an impressive 58! If you’re a fan of good food (and who isn’t?), you’ll want to check these places out!
First up on the list is Bánh Mì Boy, located at 1110 E. Colonial Drive. This gem is tucked away inside Mills Market and has quickly become known for its mouthwatering Vietnamese sandwiches, particularly the Bánh Mì. Imagine crispy pork belly sandwiched between fresh French bread—it’s practically calling your name! And guess what? It even made a cameo on Netflix’s show “Somebody Feed Phil,” which tells you just how tasty it really is.
Next on our foodie tour is Gyukatsu Rose, found at 3201 Corrine Drive. Run by the talented Chef Sean ‘Sonny’ Nguyen, this restaurant takes inspiration from Japan’s famous Gyukatsu—a delicious beef cutlet. But here’s the kicker: you can grill your own meat on a heated stone right at your table. Talk about a unique and interactive dining experience!
If you’re in the mood for a taste of the Big Apple, look no further than Kai Kai, also located at 1110 E. Colonial Drive. This cozy eatery is the brainchild of a husband-and-wife duo who are passionate about serving up authentic dishes from New York City’s Chinatown. Get ready to dive into a culinary adventure with dishes like crispy pork, char siu, and dumplings that are sure to satisfy your cravings.
No barbecue feast is complete without a visit to Smokemade Meats + Eats at 1400 S. Crystal Lake Drive. Starting as a popular pop-up and now a full-fledged restaurant, it specializes in barbecue that has been praised for standing tall against Texas standards. Indulge in sumptuous brisket, juicy ribs, and succulent turkey breast that will have your taste buds dancing!
Next on the list is Walala Hand-Pulled Noodle House, located at 5062 W. Colonial Drive. This spot is all about those delicious hand-pulled noodles, but it doesn’t stop there! You can also try their tasty dumplings and mouthwatering potstickers. It’s the kind of comfort food that feels like a warm hug.
Finally, we have Bar Kada, located at 957 Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park. This restaurant is headed by the acclaimed Chef Mike Collantes, who has previously been recognized by the Michelin Guide. Expect culinary surprises, including caviar donuts and delightful mochi cake. This spot promises to elevate your palate to new heights!
The Michelin Guide first made its way to Florida back in 2022, and it has been a wild ride ever since. As the culinary scene in Orlando continues to grow and flourish, it’s exciting to see these new restaurants added. The Florida Michelin Guide Ceremony is just around the corner—set for April 17, 2025, at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort—where more awards, star ratings, and Bib Gourmand recognitions will be unveiled.
With prior recognitions going to local treasures like Coro, Ômo by Jônt, Sorekara, and UniGirl, it’s clear that Orlando is a culinary hotspot worth exploring. So grab your forks and get ready to indulge in a world of flavors!
