Michigan St.. This new spot features seven fantastic vendors, so there’s sure to be something for everyone. From the tasty Filipino and Hawaiian fusion of OverRice to mouthwatering offerings from 503 Latin Fusion, and even scrumptious pizza from Nona Street Pizza, you may struggle to choose! This food truck haven is the place to be!

Exciting Eats and Sips on Mills Avenue

Just around the corner, a new gem is set to open its doors! Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktails is scheduled to debut at 1336 N. Mills Ave. on May 22. Guests can anticipate a delightful array of delicious Asian-influenced, tapas-style dishes alongside tiki-inspired craft cocktails. For those who can’t wait, be sure to snag reservations when they become available on May 8 via OpenTable.

But that’s not all! The charming The Burrow Cafe and Play will add a cozy vibe to the neighborhood when it opens in September at 618 N. Mills Ave.. This spot will serve coffee and quick bites while hosting exciting local food trucks and restaurant collaborations. It’s a family-friendly destination perfect for coffee lovers and casual gatherings.

Mexican Magic with a Twist

Food enthusiasts will also appreciate the arrival of the new Mexican restaurants on the scene. B’alam Maiz y Agave, inspired by the stunning flavors of Tulum and the Riviera Maya, will be moving into the Armstrong Lock building. They promise a unique focus on seafood and live-fire cooking featuring their very own house-made corn tortillas! While an opening date has yet to be announced, it’s undeniably a delicious addition to look forward to.

And don’t miss Naya Comida + Barrita, another exciting Mexican venture from @Juan Rios, which is expected to open in late fall.

Entertainment Dining Venues: Live! At Pointe Orlando

As we head into fall, an exciting new venue called Live! At Pointe Orlando is set to take shape. This sprawling 73,000-square-foot space will feature some enticing concepts like Houndsmen English Lounge, Shark Bar, Sports & Social, and PBR Cowboy Bar. It’s destined to become a go-to location for everything from dining to entertainment!

More Sips and Treats to Explore

Ice Cream Station has already opened its doors at 1113 W. State Road 436 in Altamonte Springs. This fun spot not only serves delicious ice cream but also serves up hot dogs, bringing back those delightful summer vibes! In a similar vein, Unicorn Scoops will tantalize taste buds with over 80 flavors of high butterfat ice cream, opening this June at the Lake Mary Centre.

If you’re looking for something to pair with your meal, you might want to check out Brix & Mortar Urban Winery & Lounge, which has recently launched its third location at 242 Wheelhouse Lane in Lake Mary. And let’s not forget about The Good Pour, a fabulous new wine and spirits store donating a portion of its profits to charity. It’s a great reason to sip and shop!

A Taste of Taiwan and Fresh Concepts on the Way

Other noteworthy entries include the newly opened Taiwanese restaurant Yulnn Meals & Sips at 11905 E. Colonial Drive and the long-anticipated arrival of Baba Yaga Chicken Truck, set to debut this spring with a delightful array of fried chicken sandwiches.

Despite the closure of 310 Park South after 26 years, change is on the horizon with a new concept anticipated to follow. In uplifting news, College Park Café plans to reopen on January 10, bringing back its charm after temporarily closing for renovations.

With so much happening in the Orlando dining scene, we’re all in for a culinary treat! Be sure to embark on the adventure of tasting all the fantastic new flavors while they last!
