The Chins are on fire with plans for three new restaurant venues, and while details are still stirring, one location has begun to tease the foodies!
There’s plenty to be excited about with several new food halls popping up across Central Florida. Ranging from Apopka to I-Drive, these locations promise to turn empty spaces into vibrant spots filled with delectable offerings. The buzz is particularly strong for the much-anticipated H Mart, a Korean grocery store set to not only sell groceries but also feature tantalizing food vendors ready to take your taste buds on an adventure.
Sanford is about to welcome back the Ace Cafe, which is scheduled to open this fall at 115 N. Laurel Ave, offering a cozy atmosphere to unwind and dine. Meanwhile, Agave Azul is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the grand opening of its sixth location at 8685 Fenton St. in July. But the excitement continues with Agave Bandido set to brighten up Winter Garden with a tiki-inspired speakeasy next to Ford’s Garage this spring.
Over at Universal Epic Universe, expect to find Atlantic, a full-service restaurant launching in May that specializes in seafood and cocktails—sounds like the perfect weekend spot! And for those in love with sweet treats, be on the lookout for Beignets & Brew that plans to dish out two locations in March, specializing in fluffy beignets and refreshing smoothies.
In Winter Garden, Black Bean Deli will finally bring its signature Cuban sandwiches and traditional dishes by opening in August. Not too far away, Black Coffee/Cafe Negro Bistro has just opened in Winter Park, serving up delicious Latin-inspired meals curated by a talented Puerto Rican chef.
However, it doesn’t end there! The Blue Dragon Pan Asian Restaurant is slated to launch at Universal’s Epic Universe in May, emphasizing delectable pan-Asian cuisine. To pique the interests of gourmet diners, Cevi’ch Central has recently rebranded and reopened, aiming for that coveted Michelin star with its Peruvian dishes. Meanwhile, the all-you-can-eat wagyu concept, Chubby Cattle, is set to make its mark in Orlando in 2025, with the exact location still a mystery.
This spring, Ivanhoe Village will welcome the City Food Hall, full of food vendors and three new restaurant concepts. Not to be missed, Cowboy Curry from chef William Shen is launching a Japanese curry stall across from Mills Market, while Croissant Gourmet has opened yet another sweet location in Winter Park.
In Sanford, look for the Current Seafood Bar opening soon, taking over The Imperial with an exciting raw bar concept this spring. After a brief hiatus, Dick’s Last Resort will make its return to Pointe Orlando, generating excitement as they prepare to open together with a blend of fun and fantastic food!
Looking ahead to late 2025, get ready for more food halls like the Eola Food Hall and Steel Chef’s Market referencing the fashionable dining landscape. And in Mount Dora, the Yardery is coming this March, promising outdoor games and a rooftop bar perfect for sunny days. Other notable mentions include the delicious Tacos Lab making its debut in Winter Park alongside many additional locations for existing popular restaurants.
