The 2025 PGA Merchandise Show took place in Orlando from January 21 to January 24, attracting 33,000 golf professionals and showcasing over 1,100 brands. This year’s show featured groundbreaking innovations, including AI-driven technology and customizable golf equipment, marking a significant milestone for attendees and the industry. The event was a vibrant celebration of golf, filled with networking opportunities, educational sessions, and entertainment, ultimately enriching the golfing experience for all present.
The sun was shining bright in Orlando, Florida, as the 2025 PGA Merchandise Show kicked off from January 21 to January 24. This year’s event was nothing short of spectacular, attracting a whopping 33,000 golf industry professionals, making it the biggest Show since 2009. Golf enthusiasts from all over came together to witness groundbreaking innovations and exciting new products, contributing to a massive $102 billion golf industry.
More than 1,100 brands were on hand, presenting a dazzling array of golf clubs, gear, technology, apparel, and other must-have products. As the doors opened to the Orange County Convention Center, the energy was palpable. The exhibit halls buzzed with excitement as attendees eagerly explored the latest offerings designed to enhance their golfing experience.
Among the key highlights, the Callaway Elyte driver lineup stood out, utilizing advanced AI technology and showcasing over 75 3D-printed prototypes. This innovation builds on the already impressive Paradym Ai Smoke concept, taking performance to a whole new level.
Another technology marvel was the FlightScope i4 Laser Rangefinder, which employs AI to suggest the best club choices based on real-time data and local weather conditions. Meanwhile, Bushnell and ForeSight made waves with their collaborative creation, the Bushnell ProX3+ Link Laser, which computes club recommendations utilizing various environmental factors.
Cobra made a statement with its FutureFit33 hosel system, offering an incredible range of up to 33 loft and lie adjustments. This innovation marks a significant leap in club customization, allowing golfers to fine-tune their equipment like never before. Additionally, PING introduced the BunkR wedge, designed to assist golfers in escaping sand traps more easily, boasting a wider sole and curved leading edge.
For those looking to perfect their technique, Gears Sports’ motion-tracking system can analyze swings and provide customized swing-specific golf shafts. In a push for indoor golf simulation success, TaylorMade unveiled the TRK-R golf balls, which are tailor-made for radar tracking. This provides essential support for simulators and launch monitors.
The Show featured an exciting new Innovation District, highlighting the New Product Zone and Inventor’s Spotlight. This area showcased more than 100 innovations judged by PGA professionals, awarding three ‘Best New Product’ winners. Among the standout products were the Pinned Golf portable GPS tablet and the Heathlander golf shoes.
The fun didn’t stop there; the event also enveloped golf professionals in various educational sessions covering subjects like teaching, executive management, and golf operations. Innovations also included unique products like the SParms sun protection sleeves, offering golfers essential UPF 50+ coverage against the sun. The Rapsodo MLM2Pro launch monitor was another highlight, merging radar and camera technologies for precise shot tracking.
