His preparation for the Arnold Palmer Invitational was minimal—just 27 holes in total, which included time at a par-3 course. With such limited play, it was a gamble to dive back in at such a challenging tournament.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational, a staple of the PGA TOUR since 1967, takes place at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge, renowned for its difficulty. This year, excitement builds as defending champion Scottie Scheffler tries for his third API win, joined by other recognizable names like Rory McIlroy and Jason Day.
