Those who enjoy the sport of golf, listen up! Women’s Golf Day (WGD) is gearing up for an incredible celebration of female empowerment and camaraderie as they launch a series of Elevated Events this March. The grand kickoff is set for Saturday, March 8, 2025, which conveniently aligns with International Women’s Day. This vibrant event will take place at The Park West Palm Beach, and it promises to be a fantastic opportunity for women of all ages and skill levels.
Anticipation is building as organizers expect approximately 60 women to join in on the fun during this golf and social event. It’s a great chance to foster new friendships, expand networks, and connect with other ladies who share a passion for golf. The theme for the 2025 International Women’s Day is “Accelerate Action,” which perfectly reflects the energetic spirit of WGD’s mission to elevate women’s participation in the sport.
This event is designed with inclusivity in mind. Golfers, regardless of whether they are beginners or seasoned pros, will engage in a mix of golfing activities and social interactions. Attendees can also look forward to insightful sessions featuring speakers and panelists arranged by the WGD team, adding another layer of empowerment to the day’s festivities.
But that’s not all! WGD has more Elevated Events planned throughout the year, coinciding with significant happenings like PGA Tour tournaments. The organization intends to keep the momentum going, ensuring that women have plenty of opportunities to participate in events designed for their enjoyment and growth in the sport.
This initiative stems from a commitment to make golf more accessible for women while creating an environment where they feel celebrated and welcomed. Each event serves to showcase the joy of golf, encouraging laughter, learning, and of course, connection among participants. Women’s Golf Day has previously organized similar events for corporate partners, indicating a solid foundation of experience and enthusiasm for communal engagement in the sport.
For golf facilities looking to get involved, registration is now open for hosting WGD events during the weeklong celebration from May 27 to June 3, 2025. This offers a wonderful opportunity for various locations to contribute to the spirit and excitement of Women’s Golf Day. Since the organization’s inception in 2016, WGD has expanded remarkably, reaching over 1,350 locations in 85 countries and being recognized as the fastest-growing female golf development initiative.
In the previous year, events during Women’s Golf Day week spanned the globe, with an estimated 800 events held internationally, engaging golfers from 80 countries. One highlight includes the Palm Beach Par 3 course, which hosted events like 9-hole scrambles and lessons for new golfers, ultimately building a nurturing and inclusive space for women golfers. Designed by Hall of Fame champion Raymond Floyd, the Palm Beach course is renowned for making women feel right at home on the green.
So whether you’re a seasoned golfer or looking to give it a shot, join the movement and participate in one of the remarkable events this Women’s Golf Day. Wear red and white to show your support, and don’t forget to share your experience on social media. Together, let’s celebrate the amazing world of women’s golf and the connections we can create!
